First-Year Application - Step One
Take Note of Critical Deadlines for First-Year Applicants.
If a deadline falls on a Sunday or a federal holiday, the postmark deadline will be extended to the first business day following the published deadline.

Postmark deadline for Early Action applicants Completed Part I application and non-refundable $50.00 processing fee, Counselor/School Evaluation form with official high school transcript and official SAT I and/or ACT scores must be submitted no later than today. To avoid delays in processing, we recommend that applicants submit all paper documents in the same envelope if possible. |

Note: Official test scores must be submitted to UGA electronically by the respective testing agency. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to accept paper score reports or match the same with application files. |

Postmark deadline for Foundation Fellowship and Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship application
Completed scholarship and admission application forms with all supporting materials must be submitted no later than today. To avoid delays in processing, we recommend that applicants submit all paper documents in the same envelope if possible. Scholarship applications are available online or by contacting the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (706) 542-8776. |

Admission decisions released to Early Action applicants
Early Action applicants will be notified if they have been offered admission, denied or deferred to the Regular Decision process for further consideration.
Priority postmark deadline for Regular Decision applicants seeking merit scholarship and Honors Program consideration
Any Regular Decision applicant who wishes to be considered for a merit scholarship other than the Foundation Fellowship or Bernard Ramsey Honors Scholarship or for UGA’s Honors Program should submit a completed application. |

Postmark deadline for Joint Enrollment (Summer/Fall) applicants
In addition to a completed Regular Decision application, a Joint Enrollment applicant must submit letters of support from a parent and a school official and a brief written personal statement of intention. As well, applicants must complete a successful interview with a member of the admissions staff if the applicant meets the minimum eligibility requirements. |
