List at least five words that describe the UGA community.
Welcoming, involved, spirited, eclectic, unique
If I had to offer one piece of advice for incoming students about living
and learning in the UGA community, it would be:
to approach the college life with an open mind while remaining true to
yourself.
How is diversity best expressed at UGA?
Diversity is best expressed through the myriad of opportunities that
are available for students at UGA. The large number of various clubs,
organizations, and activities reflect the different interests of such
a large student body. When I think about diversity, a picture of the
Tate Student Center comes to mind. The Tate Student Center not only
houses meeting places for a variety of programs and clubs/organizations, but also acts as a hang out for students of various cultures and interests.
With UGA being so diverse, students should not have a problem identifying
with what UGA has to offer. |
